Jefflix Live Privacy Policy

Jefflix Live is a private Discord Activity used for shared media viewing in specifically authorized Discord servers.
Information Processed
Jefflix Live may process your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar identifier, Discord server and channel context, and Discord Activity instance information as necessary to authenticate you and authorize access.
Network and technical information may also be processed transiently by hosting infrastructure for operation, troubleshooting, and security.
Authentication
Authentication is performed using Discord OAuth and the Discord Embedded App SDK.
Discord OAuth access tokens are used for authentication and are not intentionally stored persistently by the Jefflix Live backend.
Jefflix Live creates a short-lived encrypted and authenticated session cookie after successful login.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only to authenticate users, validate Discord Activity sessions, restrict access to approved Discord servers, enforce viewer and controller permissions, operate shared playback, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service.
Retention
Jefflix Live does not maintain a persistent viewer profile database. Authentication sessions expire automatically and may also be cleared manually.
Authorization configuration for approved servers and controllers remains until changed by the administrator.
Operational logs may be retained temporarily for troubleshooting and security. Jefflix Live is designed not to intentionally record Discord user IDs in normal authentication logs.
Sharing
Jefflix Live does not sell personal information, use Discord API Data for advertising, or disclose Discord API Data to data brokers or advertising networks.
Information may be processed by Discord and hosting infrastructure providers only as necessary to authenticate users and operate the service.
Home Media Infrastructure
Jefflix Live is designed so that private home-network addresses, filesystem paths, media-server credentials, and media-server authentication tokens are not intentionally disclosed to viewers.
Data Requests
You may request access, correction, modification, or deletion of information associated with your use of Jefflix Live.

Security
Jefflix Live uses HTTPS, server-side Discord credential handling, encrypted authenticated sessions, access controls, Discord Activity-instance validation, and server allowlisting to protect the service.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Jefflix Live's functionality or data-processing practices change.
